Beard Balm

Why Beard Balm

Beard balm is an all-in-one leave in condition and styling aid. Our Beard Balm’s are made with all natural ingredients to make sure you get the most benefit for your skin.

Our all natural Beard Balm is perfect for moisturizing facial hair and providing hold for styling those unruly hairs. It contains beeswax and mango butter which help your beard look thicker and are less likely to irritate your skin because they are natural. We never use synthetic sealants like petroleum jelly which can cause irritation and damage your facial hair.

We use all natural moisturizers like jojoba and almond oil to condition facial hair which helps with dryness as well as preventing brittle hairs and breakage.

Jojoba oil has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties which fights harmful bacteria growth that leads to breakouts. Jojoba oil also can help treat dry skin and get rid of dandruff.

Almond oil is a mild, hypoallergenic oil. The substances present in almond oil get rid of sebum, which clog pores.

In addition to the all natural ingredients we add essential oils to our balm for additional benefits.

Cedarwood essential oil can be beneficial in curing acne, dandruff, dermatitis and treatment for oily skin. It has also been shown to help with hair growth as it increases blood circulation, which in turn can stimulate the follicles and improve hair strength.

Frankincence essential oil is known to have many benefits. Some of the most common skin benefits that have been seen include treating acne, fading acne scars, preventing premature aging, regulating oily skin, treating dry skin, soothing inflammation and treating ingrown hairs.

Eucalyptus essential oil has been noted for its anti-inflammatory, disinfectant and antibacterial qualities.

HOW TO USE

Wash your beard with an all-natural soap (this one or this one is popular in our house) and apply beard balm when your beard is dry. Scrape out a pea to nickel sized amount of balm, depending on beard length, and rub between your palms .

Run fingers through your facial hair, starting from the neck and working up, making sure to rub balm into the skin where your beard grows. This helps nourish facial hair at the roots. Now switch direction and run your fingers through your beard in a downward motion from top to bottom, spreading the balm down the hair follicles. Be sure to get all your facial hair including your mustache and the hair around your mouth.

Now brush the balm through your beard with a bristle beard brush (this one has great reviews on Amazon and has natural boar bristles) to distribute the balm evenly through your beard.

You can use the hair brush to straighten your beard, or you can scrunch facial hair in fists to heighten curl.

You can use it up to three times a day as needed. Grab our small tins for on the go style. Because our Beard Balm is all natural containing beeswax and mango butter, it can be left in until you wash your beard without worry.
