This was such a sweet baby shower. I decorated my daughters first birthday in pink and gold.
I spent quiet a few days making the the cute Paper Flowers for the backdrop. Then I did the puff balls. Just love this kind of DIY, mindless and can do it while hanging out with the kiddos.
I didn’t have nearly as much time to get everything the way I wanted it but it turned out good. I literally only had 1 1/2 hours to get everything brought in, tables moved around and decorated. Not even close to enough time. But, the room looked WAY better then it did when I arrived.
The Lighting wasn’t helping it either…. And of course I didn’t have my good camera after I set it all up so I had to use my phone. But you get the idea!
I made this sweet “L” for the baby room as a gift from the Auntie.
The diaper cake was a last minute addition but it turned out cute.
The shower was for Mom and Dad so we had dual party favors. We went with their favorite alcohol to fit the location of the shower (local BBQ place).
Everyone loved the decorations, including the employees of the facility. They took pictures of the shower to help promote the party room for future events.
I learned a lot from this shower, including how many hours it takes to put everything together. I will be very prepared for my next event for sure but had fun regardless!
